FAQ About Working For Brick House Realty
How to Obtain a Massachusetts Salesperson License

WANT YOUR LIFE BACK?
We believe that if everyone had enough money and time to do the things they loved the world would be a better place. This is one of the pillars that Brick House Realty was founded on. We are revolutionizing the way people “work”.

Are you sick of the rat race? Do you have a deep hunger to succeed but have not found the right outlet to attract success?

Brick House Realty offers its agents a simple, yet highly effective structure in which they can live the lives they have always dreamed. Being an agent, however, is not for everyone. Some people actually like working in their 8am to 6pm job and having to ask when they can spend time with their family or take time off, and that’s perfectly fine. If you are not satisfied with that type of existence than read on.

Working with Brick House Realty gives you the freedom to truly set YOUR own schedule. To go on vacation when YOU want. To spend time with your family and friends when YOU want. No more starting to feel “icky” when Sunday afternoon rolls around because you know Monday is not that far away. No more missing special events because you can’t get enough time off. You can take your life back!

Being an agent with Brick House Realty is a “hybrid” situation. It is the best of both worlds because you have the freedom of being an entrepreneur yet still having a structure that gives you the support you need to thrive! We are visionaries in the real estate world. By leveraging the power and capabilities of the Internet we have created a business formula that eliminates a lot of the things agents hate doing, like having to do floor time, having to go door-to-door, being trapped in one area or having to find your own leads.

Here are some perks that most of our agents adore:

Freedom to pick whatever cities and towns you want to sell real estate in
Ability to build your own team under you
Opportunity to participate in fun, effective, hands-on trainings by professional world-class presenters
Special prizes and contests for agents who hit their goals
Ability to start your own business with a strong support system
Freedom to work out of your home
Leads sent to you directly

The Results:
Our agents are the best in the market. We get the business we do because we do exceptional work for our clients. Word of mouth and the Internet our most powerful tools and we leverage the hell out of them.

"No prior experience in real estate is necessary."

Sound good so far? Well the catch is that it is not easy to become a Brick House Realty agent. We make it challenging because it helps us determine who is really serious and who is out for a stroll. We accept only the best of the best because like attracts like. No prior experience in real estate in necessary. We are more interested in finding friendly, success-oriented people who fit in with our team of top realtors.

FAQ ABOUT WORKING FOR BRICK HOUSE REALTY:

Where is your office?
Our headquarters is located on Route 16 in Holliston, Massachusetts, but our agents work primarily from their homes throughout the state. Each agent’s office is wherever their computer and/or cell phone are. We are flexible and mobile because that is what our clients need us to be. It is much more convenient to the client (and for agents too) to meet closer to them versus having them come to us.

Why do BHR agents make more money than at others?
Other real estate firms hire just about anyone with a pulse, sometimes give them a little training and then watch them fail. They fully expect 70-76% of people to leave within the first year. We at Brick House Realty have a different mentality and it shows in our business model. One example of this is that we decrease part of the process for each agent by supplying qualified buyer and seller leads. The result is that our agents spend less time prospecting and more time selling homes and thus making money.

How much money does an average agent make?
Industry numbers vary but most agents at other firms make an average of about $20,000 - $25,000/year in their first year. Our average this year is expected to be almost double that amount. Our top agent made over $100,000 with the training program we teach.

What will I need?
The key ingredient is the hunger to want to be part of something meaningful. In addition to having a valid real estate license, you need to have exceptional customer service skills. Being comfortable around technology like email, the Internet and computers is also a good match. In general you need to be independent and money motivated. Each agent is responsible for providing their own reliable automobile, cell phone, fax and computer.

What are my hours?
Some real estate agents work 7 days a week. To get the best results we at Brick House believe that you should create balance. Each individual can create a schedule that is as balanced as they desire. At the beginning you do work a lot but you make your own schedule and answer only to yourself.

Is there a salary or benefits?
Real estate agents are Independent Contractors and do not receive benefits like in other industries. On the flip side, agents have much more freedom and a higher income potential than most other professions.

What is the commission?
Our agents start at 50% commission and have opportunities to make much more through increasing success levels, bonuses, contests, etc.

Are there any costs associated with becoming an agent?
Our agents are expected to join the Realtor Association, as well as the MLS. These costs vary.
