Opening day for the Schmidt’s at 783 Washington Street is Monday morning, June 23, 2008, and there will be balloons and free food. The first 100 families who bring in their dry cleaning will receive a free $25 gift certificate to apply towards their next order.

Freecycle.org is a website that allows people in the community to share their unwanted items with others, and everything is completely free. For the Holliston/Hopkinton community, Linda Carrabba is the moderator, and she knows all about the website. Three years ago, Linda was looking for an easier, faster way to recycle bigger items she had in her house. After browsing the internet, she found the Freecycle Network.

Sophia Maria Salomao-Schmidt was born on her due date of
December 31, 2007 at 2:43 am. She weighed in at 8 lb 14.7oz
and was 21" long.

Maria and father Doug shared a long-awaited sushi dinner
in a Mt Auburn hospital room, "celebrating the transition
into 2008 with a view of the glorious Charles River and watching
the fireworks at midnight."
Isabella will swell the population of Mudville when she comes
home to live in Holliston with her three now-thrilled siblings.
May she grow and thrive here.
