Another one of Brick House Realty's main pillars is "giving back". We whole-heartedly buy into the concept of what goes around comes around. We believe it is possible to make money AND do socially responsible acts of good.
In order to continue the cycle of abundance, we donate 5% of our net profits to charities. After all, the world cannot become a better place without our conscious acts. In addition, Brick House Realty agents agree to do at least 5 hours of volunteering every month. Many do much more but we all have to start somewhere.
It's the little things we do that collectively make a huge difference. By giving back we are truly living and contributing to the full cycle of abundance. We invite you to pick any one of these or your own and do your part to giving back to the world.
Although the organizations below are of varying sizes, all were started by visionaries, like Brick House Realty's founder, who saw something in the world they did not like and were motivated to make a difference. We invite you to support their tremendous efforts:
A very powerful after-school program that was originally started by two young men who were inspired by John F. Kennedy having formed the Peace Corps. The program is so effective that it now touches the lives of children nationally. Its goal is to prepare children for leadership roles in the 21st century by involving each community's professionals.
Located in Sherborn, MA right on Route 16 it was originally a concept suggested by Mother Teresa when she came to visit this former school. The vision for the Peace Abbey was created by man who decided to dedicate his life to creating a sanctuary for those who want to study peace as a way of living. So powerful is this simple place that celebrities like Julia Butterfly, Yoko Ono, Raul Julia, Muhammad Ali and Maya Angelou have all visited and donated.
Imagine a site in which you can find out what is REALLY going on with your local environment. Find out who is polluting in your neighborhood and what you can do about it.
This incredible center was created by a woman who experienced the death of a loved one and was shocked to find no good resources for children. The Children's Room is a loving center for grieving children, teens and their families.
